USF has a variety of data tools, like Academic Analytics, to allow faculty to find
each other, form research networks, and compare our programs to our peer list of institutions.
USFRI has resources for finding research funding, submitting proposals, and managing grants, to patenting, licensing, and spinning
out new companies developed at USF.
Find resources for global engagement, including international travel guidance, resources
for international scholars, global learning programs including study abroad, Fulbright
Scholar mentorship, and other information designed to promote faculty success. You
can also access the Global Discovery Hub for information about international partnerships, student mobility, and faculty activities
around the world. Every employee at USF has a dedicated profile that can be customized
to highlight your global footprint by logging in with your NetID.
The Office of Corporate Partnerships, OCP, is a “front door” to the university, providing
concierge service by connecting community organizations and companies seeking a relationship
with USF to the right point of contact and program for them. It is charged with identifying
potential community partners to collaborate with faculty and students for educational
programs, innovation, internships, and sponsored research.
The Office of Community Engagement and Partnerships (OCEP) provides faculty with a
variety of services for growing community-engaged research including development and
assessment of service-learning courses. It also connects community members and organizations
with USF resources including faculty experts and service-learning students, and program
The University of South Florida maintains a commitment to end anti-Black racism and
focus on fostering an actively anti-racist culture across our nation and at USF. The
Office of the Provost and USF Research & Innovation have jointly committed $500,000
for Round 1 of a research grant program to understand and address the effects of systemic
racism at the local, national, and international levels.
The University of South Florida Nexus Initiative (UNI) offers tenured/tenure-track
and full-time research faculty members the opportunity to collaborate with global
and national community partners in scholarly and innovative projects; develop sustained
research and scholarship programs with high-impact researchers at other institutions;
and create opportunities for exceptional graduate students to expand the breadth of
their research and scholarly experience.
