Vice President Search

Overview

The University of South Florida is in search for its next Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

The University has made tremendous strides in DEI accomplishments, including closing the achievement gap across race for graduation rates and refocusing efforts to support all students, faculty, and staff by reorganizing the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion—but there is still much more to be done. The university’s dedication to not just our on-campus community, but the communities that we serve is vital, and our new Vice President will be the driver behind this change for good.

As a part of the 2022–2027 Strategic Plan, “In Pursuit of Excellence,” the University of South Florida established our core values of Inquiry, Innovation, Integrity, and Inclusion. It is undeniable that achieving our goals of AAU eligibility and Top-25 ranking can only be accomplished through a diverse University community at all levels. Also established in our Strategic Plan are our core commitments, of which diversity, equity, and inclusion are a part of.

The Vice President reports to the President and is a member of the President’s Cabinet, the senior leadership team of the university, and leads the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across all three campuses.
