Articulation Agreements

Articulation Agreements

USF welcomes educational partnerships with schools that are recognized by the Florida Department of Education; this includes public school districts, public charter schools, private schools, and homeschools.

Public School District Agreements cover all public high school students in the district to include public charter schools. (Counselors from public schools do not have to send a request. The request comes from the district).

Independant Charter School Agreements cover the students attending that charter school.

Private School Agreements (Registered in the State of Florida) cover the students attending that private school.

Homeschool Agreeements cover individual students who are homeschooled by a parent homeshcool administrator.

The process for establishing articulation agreement(s) with USF is an easy process, just request an Articulation Agreement below.

Deadlines for requesting an articulation agreement for dual enrollment:

Full-year agreements: May 15
Half-year agreements: October 15

Deadlines for requesting an articulation agreement for early admission:

Full-year agreement: March 15

These deadlines above ensure that students can make their application deadlines. The request date satifies the deadline.

Note: Articulation agreements for either Dual Enrollment or Early Admission are valid for one year--usually beginning on July 1, always ending on June 30—enabling students to apply for fall and/or spring semesters. Early admission enrollment must be for fall and spring semesters (full time), and follows the fall admission timeline.  USF does not offer dual enrollment credit for summer courses at this time.
