Two undergraduate students were selected to receive the College of Education's Spring 2022 Graduation with Distinction Award. The Graduation with Distinction Award is presented to select undergraduate students in the College of Education who stand apart from their peers based on their academic excellence, professional development, community service, research and scholarship while a student at USF.
From the time she began her studies at USF, Mathematics Education major Alicia Miller has taken on opportunities such as working as a resident assistant for the Education Living Learning Community and becoming a part-time tutor through USF’s Tutor-A-Bull program. Now, with graduation just around the corner, she reflects on her teacher preparation program and the experiences that have led her to where she is today.

Social Science Education major Kyle Schmidt selected for College of Education Graduation with Distinction Award
Kyle Schmidt, a social science education major in USF’s College of Education, was selected to receive the College of Education’s Graduation with Distinction Award for the Fall 2021 semester.
The University of South Florida will award more than 4,500 degrees during fall commencement scheduled for Dec. 10-11. The ceremonies include recipients of approximately 3,433 undergraduate, 1,099 master’s and 181 doctoral degrees.
