CSE Alumna Ghada Alzamzmi (PhD, 2019) was awarded the National Library of Medicine (NLM) Board of Regents award

CSE Alumna Ghada Alzamzmi (PhD, 2019) was awarded The Regents Award for Scholarship or Technical Achievement at the National Library of Medicine (NLM) Board of Regents meeting. Dr. Alzamzmi received this year's award for outstanding efforts in developing an end-to-end echocardiography artificial intelligence system for cardiac disease detection. Dr. Alzamzmi is a Research Fellow with the Computational Health Research Branch, Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications, in the NLM Intramural Research Program. Her PhD advisors were Professor Rangachar Kasturi and Professor Dmitry Goldgof.
