The USF invention was integrated onto a rocket-powered lander for a flight that simulated a lunar landing

As NASA continues exploring the moon’s southern polar region to find ice, USF engineers are developing technology to make landing on the moon safer and less expensive.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Since its inception in 2018, our internship program has grown to encompass more than 700 students placed with agencies that support the U.S. Department of Defense, especially U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM), headquartered at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.
