    THRIVE doles out $25,000 to support four student entrepreneurs The Hafer THRIVE program awards up to $10,000 in nondilutive funding each semester to help promising ventures move from concept to reality. More than prize money, the program gives founders an opportunity to refine their business models, receive feedback from experienced judges and gain confidence that their ideas are worth pursuing. Eleven teams competed in the spring pitch competition.

    USF entrepreneurship faculty coaches students to sweet success James Taylor, an assistant professor in the USF Nault Center for Entrepreneurship, was honored at the 2026 Florida SBDC at USF Business Awards in May after his undergraduate and graduate student consulting teams won Performance Awards and were recognized as the best in the Tampa Bay region.

    Brewery founder taps into success at USF talk Mike Harting, founder of 3 Daughters Brewing, spoke at USF St. Petersburg’s Lynn Pippenger Hall as part of the Nault Center for Entrepreneurship’s “Conversation with a Founder” speaker series, which brings experienced entrepreneurs to share advice and real-world experiences.

Ranked Nationally by The Princeton Review

The Princeton Review released its 2026 Top Graduate Schools for Entrepreneurship Studies list, ranking USF's Nault Center for Entrepreneurship No. 11 in the nation and No. 7 among public universities. The undergraduate program is also nationally ranked, coming in at No. 24, and No. 14 among public universities.
