Checklist and Priority Dates
September
- Apply for your FSA ID (if you do not have one)
- Visit Our Get Started Page
- Apply for Admission to USF
October - December
- Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Mid-December: Search and apply for scholarships.
- All Students: Complete and submit any required documents in Student Self-Service
December - March
- All Students: Complete and submit any required documents in Student Self-Service
April - May
- All Students: Complete and submit any required documents in Student Self-Service
- New Freshmen: View your awards in Student Self-Service. Read and accept your Financial Aid Terms and Conditions
- New Freshmen: If awarded USF scholarships, read and accept your USF Scholarship Terms and Conditions in Student Self-Service
- New Transfer and Graduate Students: In mid-April, review and monitor your financial aid awards in Student Self-Service. Read and accept your Financial Aid Terms and Conditions
- Continuing Undergraduates and Graduate Students: In mid-June, review and monitor your financial aid awards in Student Self-Service. Read and accept your Financial Aid Terms and Conditions
- Report any additional funds you may receive that are not listed in Student Self-Service.
June - July
- All Direct Student Loan Borrowers: Login to Student Self-Service to accept your loans if awarded
- New Borrowers:
- Complete your Direct Loan Entrance Counseling
- Complete your Direct Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN)
August
