Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (SEOG)

The SEOG is awarded to low income students pursuing their first baccalaureate degree. Funds are awarded based on full time enrollment, but pro-rated each semester if enrolled less than full time (a minimum half time enrollment is required).

To be considered for an SEOG, students must:

  1. be admitted as a degree seeking undergraduate;
  2. complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the published priority deadline;
  3. be Pell Grant eligible;
  4. maintain satisfactory academic progress; and
  5. not be in default on a federal student loan or owe a repayment on a federal grant
