November 11, 3:30pm

Based on the latest weather information, all USF campuses will close effective 3:30 p.m on Wednesday, Nov. 11 through Thursday, Nov. 12. All classes will be delivered remotely on Thursday. Although campuses are physically closed, university operations are expected to continue remotely, and all employees who can work remotely should continue to do so. All campuses are expected to reopen on Friday, Nov. 13.

Only USF employees who are classified as essential personnel and/or those identified by their supervisors as vital to campus operations may report to on-campus work while campuses are closed. Please contact your supervisor if you are unsure of your status.

University leadership will continue to monitor the storm and will provide updates as needed.

At this time, residence halls and residential dining facilities at the USF Tampa and USF. St. Petersburg campuses will remain open, although hours for some facilities may be adjusted. Please see list below.

USF Health has canceled clinical operations at all of its facilities beginning Wednesday, Nov. 11 through the morning of Thursday, Nov. 12. All USF Health clinics will re-open at noon on Thursday, Nov. 12. Visit health.usf.edu/care for updates on how the storm may impact patient appointments.

We urge students, faculty and staff to plan carefully, follow local weather reports and monitor updates and guidance from county and state emergency management officials. The 2020 USF Hurricane Guide is available here.
