Female professor in lab coat, gloves, goggles speaking to students

In August 2020, USF welcomed new Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Angela Sklenka. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position and has actively engaged with USF campus constituents including Deans, the Black Employee Steering Committee, among many other entities to explore the unique challenges and opportunities of anti-racism at USF. Currently, she is working on three main priorities related to anti-racism:

  • Salary Equity Analysis (Task force recommendations submitted to the President in May 2021)
  • Exit Interviews (In progress with HR)
  • Inclusion/Belonging Training: HR plans to partner with faculty to build an integrated curriculum for training purposes. (Currently in development)

New Anti-Racism and Inclusive Pedagogy Workshops to be launched in August 2021.
