why it matters

First-Gen Week increases the visibility of first-generation students across the USF community and at colleges and universities nationwide. Through intentional programs that build community and demystify the college experience, students gain practical tools, connections, and insights that help them navigate the hidden curriculum of higher education long after the week ends.
