How to Apply

Deadlines

Fall admission: March 1,  International Students - January 15

Spring admission: September 30, International Students - September 15

 

On-line Application

All applicants must complete the 'VZ College Application'.

 

Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts are sufficient when applying, but official transcripts are required to enroll.

 

GRE Scores

You must take the "General Test". Direct your official scores to USF Criminology; our institution code is 005828 and our department is 2202. For the application process, a copy of the unofficial report is sufficient and can be uploaded within the application.

 

Supporting Documents

The following supporting documents must be uploaded into the application by the deadline:

  1. Three (3) letters of recommendation speaking to the applicant's academic capabilities. (Letters from professors are strongly preferred).   
  2. A statement of purpose detailing:  (a) reasons for seeking a MA degree in criminology, (b) research interests, and (c) future career plans.   
  3. A sample of written work providing evidence of the applicant's academic abilities.
