The Graduate Certificate in Business Foundations (CBF) provides an intensive, graduate level introduction to business concepts, tools, and techniques across three critical dimensions: decision making, measurement, and market orientation. The 16 credit hour program prepares current and aspiring managers to effectively contribute to strategic and operating decisions within their organizations and professions; it also fulfills prerequisite requirements for entry into the MBA program.
The Certificate is offered fully online (not all semesters), partially online and at the Tampa campus. Cohort programs may be offered off site. Please contact department for more information about our online courses.
An undergraduate degree in any major from a regionally-accredited college or university; 3.0 target GPA, however, exceptions may be made for students with older undergraduate degrees who have significant work experience and for students who have pursued more difficult undergraduate disciplines. There are no prerequisites.

Credit toward graduate degree
International students must submit a TOEFL score when English is not the native language. A minimum score of 550 on the paper-based test or 79 on the web-based test is required. GRE/GMAT are not required.
Time Limit for Completion of Certificate
Per University Policy, all Certificates have a five year time limit; however, the approximate time to complete the Certificate is three years.
