Multimedia Journalism

The certificate program in Convergence Media is designed to take both a practical and critical approach to meeting the challenges of the changing media world. Specific courses give students a broad range in journalistic multi-platform writing and design and will allow students to become adept at preparing and placing those stories in a web-based journalism environment. Specifically, students will be able to draw on their knowledge to properly place media, create links to appropriate venues and present these in an attractive and appropriate interactive setting.
