GAPP
GUARANTEED ADMISSIONS PATHWAY PARTNERSHIP (GAPP)
The Guaranteed Admissions Pathway Partnership (GAPP) is designed to strengthen university-community engagement while increasing admissions opportunities for students of underserved or Title I populations. Each year, GAPP partners with schools that are working hard to close achievement gaps for students from underrepresented, first-generation and special populations and increase their college readiness.
GAPP WEBINARS (INFORMATION SESSIONS)
Our GAPP webinars are for those wanting personalized answers to admissions questions and helpful application resources. Students are encouraged to attend for more information about enrollment at USF, including our pathway programs.
Admission Requirements for GAPP Students:
Students can qualify for GAPP by meeting all of the following requirements:
- Attending one of USF’s GAPP partner high schools.
- Sustaining a 3.7 cumulative GPA by the end of their junior year.
- Earning a score of 1100 on the SAT or 22 on the ACT.
GAPP PARTNERS
USF currently partners with various schools across Hillsborough, Pinellas, Sarasota, Manatee, Pasco, Polk and Lake Counties:
APPLYING TO GAPP
If high school students meet the admission requirements above and attend a participating high school, they are eligible to apply to GAPP by completing the standard USF Admissions Application. This partnership allows students to attend any USF campus.
Students will also be granted priority consideration for the History of Achievement Scholarship, an academic award of up to $2,000. When students apply, they may also be considered for additional access programs and financial awards.
FOR HIGH SCHOOLS
USF is committed to granting college access to our underrepresented populations. If you are an administrator or staff member at a high school that is interested in joining USF’s GAPP program, coordinators are available to discuss your participation. Please contact us for more information about membership.
