Transfer Transcript Submission
Official high school and college transcripts must be submitted to the University of South Florida before your first day of classes. Remember, your offer of admission is contingent upon our receipt and evaluation of your transcript. Make sure to submit official transcripts separately from all institutions attended. If we do not receive all transcripts by the deadline; a hold will be placed on your student account, which may affect your ability to receive financial aid disbursements or register for future semesters.
The University of South Florida (School Code 001537) will accept electronic transcripts as official if they are submitted through one of the below providers:
Electronic Services Providers
- FASTER/SPEEDE*
- Parchment Exchange (including Naviance)
- National Student Clearinghouse
- Credential Solutions
- Scribbles Software
- AARTS and SMART transcripts (military service only, not required for admission)
- SCOIR
* FASTER and SPEEDE/ExPRESS are sets of predefined data formats used by educational institutions to electronically exchange student records and transcripts. Institutions must subscribe to the FASTER and/or SPEEDE/ExPRESS systems to participate in this exchange.
If you are sending transcripts from an out-of-state institution, we do not accept submissions of electronic transcripts via the SPEEDE network. Please consult with your institution(s). If your institution(s) uses SPEEDE, please request an official transcript to be mailed to USF to the address above or an electronic PDF to transcripts@usf.edu.
Note: Hard copies of official transcripts must be submitted in a sealed envelope directly from the school or institution. If you pick up your official transcript and bring it to the admissions office at any USF campus, make sure that the envelope has not been opened. Once opened, the transcript is no longer considered official.
