Professor Hari Srikanth received his PhD in an interdisciplinary Materials Physics program from the Indian Institute of Science, India in 1993. He subsequently joined University of Nebraska, NE and then Northeastern University at Boston MA, as a postdoctoral researcher. After working briefly at Rome Labs, Hanscom AFB, MA as a NRC associate he joind Advanced Materials Research Institute, University of New Orleans, LA as an Assistant Professor for Research. He joined the faculty of the Department of Physics, University of South Florida, as an Assistant Professor in 2000. In 2008, he became Professor of Physics.
Prof. Srikanth is serving as the chair of the publication committee, MMM for 2011-2013. He also holds the membership of many Professional Societies including American Physical Society (APS), Materials Research Society (MRS), IEEE Magnetics Society (Senior Member, IEEE) and The Metals, Minerals and Materials Society (TMS).
