Mojisola Adewumi

My name is Mojisola Adewumi (She/Her). I’m a graduate student in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Prevailing cultural practices and other true stories of social injustices motivated me to make a positive deference for a better future and set up ‘’Royal Empowerment Foundation’’ (Nonprofit) whose aim is to educate, empower and inspire women to lead social change in their communities. I am particularly interested in innovative research on closing gender inequality gaps globally, advocating for women empowerment; and learning how I can address sexual and gender based violence arising from patriarchy?

I envision contributing to creative, visionary initiatives and academic research that promote excellence through diversity, equity, and inclusion, while advancing on   collaborative ways that can improve the livelihood of women and promote gender equality around the world.
