AUTHORS, AWARDS, AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Dr. Meredith Johnson and Dr. Nathan Johnson have been awarded an NCA Philosophy of Communication Award for their co-authored chapter, "Can Objects Be Moral Agents? Posthuman Praxis in Public Transportation".

Dr. Laura Runge and Dr. Jessica Cook co-edited "The Circuit of Apollo: Eighteenth-century Women's Tributes to Women." The book was published by University of Delaware Press in May 2019 as part of an Early Modern Feminism series. The collection of essays delves into the relationships and networks of women from the late seventeenth to mid-nineteenth centuries.

Former English Department Chair Hunt Hawkins has been awarded Emeritus status in 2019.
