As you approach the end of your degree, you will want to start thinking about graduation. Hopefully you have been meeting with your advisor regularly. At the very least, you should meet with your advisor in the semester prior to graduating to confirm you truly are on track to finish.
If you are on track to graduate, you will apply in OASIS by the deadline specified on the Registrar's Important Dates and Deadlines Calendar. Applying by the deadline is necessary for your name to appear in the commencement brochure and initiates an official review of your record.
The Registrar's Office has additional resources regarding graduation from the university on their Graduation website.
If you intend to walk at the commencement ceremony, you will RSVP through the Commencement website. This website will also provide information about the ceremony, regalia, and guest information.
Attending commencement is not the same as officially graduating. If you successfully complete all degree requirements, your degree is certified after final grades post in the semester you apply to graduate, and your diploma is mailed 6-8 weeks later.
