How to Request an IT Equipment Recycling Pick-Up

  • All It equipment recycling pick-up requests must be submitted through the SC Logic system.
    • This system is available only to USF employees
    • It is exclusive to the Tampa capus
Accessing the SC Logic System
  • Click the link provided to access the SC Logic system
  • Before proceeding, we recommend reviewing the instructions on the page
  • On the SC Logic homepage:
    • Click on the Tech Recycle Request icon
    • This will open a sing sign-on (SSO) page
    • Select "Log in with USF SSO" to complete authentication
Completing the Tech Recycle
  • Enter your name (last name first)
  • Complete all required fields (marked with a red astrick)
Entering Device Information
  • In the Device information section:
    • Enter each item you would like picked up
    • For computers and data-containing devices, provide:
      • Device type (desktop, laptop, tablet, etc.)
      • Serial number for each individual item
      • Brief description of the item
    • Click Add to Manifest after entering each item
  • You may submit up to 30 items per Tec Recycle Request 
  • For peripherals (keyborads, monitors, mice, thumb drives):
    • Only a quantatity per category is required (no serial numbers is needed)
Submitting the Request
  • Once all information has been entered:
    • Click Submit to complete the form
  • Submission will notify USF Tampa Central Receiving that your department has IT equipment ready for recycling
Pick-Up Details
  • Please allow 10-14 business days for Central Receiving to contact your department
  • Central Receiving will coordinate a date and time for pick-up
  • Only equipment listed on the submitted form will be pick up
Important Notes
  • This process is limited to data-containing devices, including:
    • Desktop computers
    • Laptops
    • Tablets
    • Associated peripherals
  • Large Equipment such as printers and copiers are not included
