Our Mission and Vision

The Center for Marketing and Sales Innovation (CMSI) catalyzes regional and global growth by empowering students, faculty, businesses, and government partners to master marketing and sales through research, experiential learning, and collaborative innovation.

Our vision positions CMSI as a collaboration hub where research, practice, and education converge to shape how markets evolve. Across our programs and partnerships, we focus on connecting insight to action—ensuring that learning is applied, shared, and impactful.

A Platform, Not a Pipeline

The center operates as an integrated platform that connects three core elements:

• Learning through experiential education, competitions, and applied coursework
• Research through shared infrastructure, labs, and cross-disciplinary collaboration
• Practice through partnerships with industry, government, and community organizations

These elements reinforce one another through continuous feedback loops. Students apply what they learn, research informs practice, and real-world engagement generates new insight. This model creates sustained value beyond individual programs or events.
