Research Interests:

Sexual, mental health, parenting and rehabilitation issues


Dr. Dae Sheridan  is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Board Certified Clinical Sexologist and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with a private consulting and psychotherapy practice.

She serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of South Florida, where she has taught graduate Human Sexuality since 2007 in the Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling Program.

A recognized speaker and commentator on sexual, mental health, parenting and rehabilitation issues, Dr. Sheridan regularly presents her research, facilitates psychoeducational seminars and participates as a featured expert for various professional organizations and media outlets, worldwide.

As an activist and advocate for quality mental health services and sexuality education for all, Dr. Sheridan volunteers her time and provides pro-bono services.  She currently contributes as a member of the Board of Directors at the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay and has been recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as one of our community’s Healthcare Heroes in the category of healthcare education.

She recently shared her passion for her life’s work on the TEDx stage with “Real Talk About THE TALK”.
