FACULTY POLICY COUNCIL

The Faculty Policy Council is the policy-making authority for the College of Education engaged in faculty governance through a unified faculty voice on matters that concern more than one department. The Faculty Policy Council reports its decisions to the Dean and to the faculty at large.

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM COMMITTEE

The Undergraduate Program Committee acts for the faculty in matters related to undergraduate education and advise the Faculty Policy Council, Dean, and designees on policy matters. The committee also initiates a review and proposes recommendations to policies related to undergraduate education while providing oversight of the quality of undergraduate courses and program offerings.

GRADUATE PROGRAM COMMITTEE

The Graduate Program Committee acts for faculty members in matters related to graduate education and advises the Faculty Policy Council, Dean, and designees on policy matters. The committee also initiates a review and proposes recommendations to policies related to graduate education.

FACULTY SUCCESS & COMMUNITY INIATIVES

The Faculty Success Committee will conduct a survey of matters/ factors that are impacting faculty that will be shared with the leadership team and FPC. The feedback will promote a culture within the college that honors and supports our colleagues, encourages their continuous productivity, and promote successful experiences for our faculty and students.

DIGITAL ECOSYSTEM COMMITTEE

The USF College of Education Digital Ecosystem Committee will guide the Faculty Policy Council/College Dean’s Office to optimize the College’s technology initiatives in order to ensure that the COEDU’s integration of technology is strategic and to position the College as a leader in technological innovation at the state, national, and international levels.
