Overview

Florida MESA is a robust program that provides our students with opportunities to explore STEM careers and degree program at college campuses, participate in statewide and national competitions, and get their families involved in Engineering Design Challenges.

Field Trips: College and Career Visits

College and Career access is a vital component to the Florida MESA College Prep Program. Field trips to the local Univsersity and STEM industries provide a new sense of possibility for students who have typically never had exposure to higher education, STEM careers, or role models in these areas. The following field trips help to promote students' college and career awareness and readiness..

Family Programs

MESA families are essential to the MESA Network of Support, as they provide invaluable support for our MESA students and programs. These evenings are held at local schools or other locations accessible to school chapters and serve as the starting point for MESA families to learn the information they need to help their students along their post-secondary college and career pathway.

Competitions

Trophies

Team-based competitions allow students to apply their learning and skills from engaging in the program's curriculum and provide additional exposure to STEM college and career options. These are great opportunities for students to meet other MESA teams and showcase their projects.
