Ph.D. in School Psychology
USF’s Ph.D. in School Psychology prepares scholars and practitioners to deliver comprehensive psychological services in educational, clinical, and community settings. This face-to-face, nationally accredited doctoral program emphasizes the integration of psychology and education through a scientist-practitioner model. What you will learn

What to Expect
This accredited doctoral program provides deep training in both psychology and education, including advanced coursework, research apprenticeships, practica, and internships. Students with an Ed.S. degree may design individualized specialization pathways for more focused study. The program also offers optional emphasis areas—such as organizational consultation, pediatric school psychology, and school-based mental health—allowing students to graduate with additional applied expertise. Research engagement is central, with opportunities to collaborate on faculty projects in areas such as behavioral interventions, MTSS, positive psychology, academic assessment, and organizational development.
