Internships
SOFWERX Internship Program
The SOFWERX Internship Program is supported by USF's Institute of Applied Engineering and interns will be employed by the University of South Florida. Internships are avaliable in a variety of fields for each term. Applications are accepted at any point during the year, but are only reviewed three times per year: Febrauary/March (for Summer), June/July (for Fall) and October/November (for Spring).
SOFWERX serves as an innovation platform for the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit by bringing the best of Government, Industry, Academia, and National Labs together to help solve challenging problems encountered by Special Operations Forces. SOFWERX, located in Tampa, FL, was created under a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA), established in September of 2015, between DEFENSEWERX and the United States Special Operations Command.
