USF Community Giving Tree
Make the Season Special with the USF Community Giving Tree!
Sometimes unexpected life circumstances can make the holiday season hard for colleagues who may be struggling to provide gifts for their children.
With the USF Community Giving Tree, employees in need can discreetly submit their children's gift wish lists and fellow USF employees have the opportunity to sponsor one or more children from the Giving Tree.
Help us make the season special for all of our USF families within the employee community by participating in the annual USF Community Giving Tree program!
Registering a Child
You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child. All full-time, part-time and temporary USF employees are eligible to submit their child's wish. Children must be 18 years of age or younger. Wishes must be limited to items that can be purchased for $35 or less. Only one submission is allowed per child. No last names will be provided. All sponsors will receive the first name of a child, his or her age, gender, and up to five desired items on his or her wish list.
- You will need to have an active NetID to register a child. (If you need instructions to activate your NetID, click here).
- Please note only one submission per child is allowed. There is a registration limit of 4 children per employee.
- Have your child's wish list submitted by November 15, 2019 so we can pair your child with a gift sponsor.
- Donated gifts will be ready for pick up outside of room 5012 in the Student Services building (SVC 5012) December 10th - 13th. Please bring a valid photo ID.
Sponsoring a Child's Wish
When registering as a sponsor, you will select the preferred gender and age range of a child in need. You may also indicate "No Preference," which will help ensure that more children are matched with sponsors. Once matched with a child, you will receive the child's list of 5 "wishes" to help you in selecting a gift.Total spending per child must be limited to $35 or less. Gifts must be unwrapped and must include the child's first name and assigned number.
Gift collection will take place November 18th - December 3rd, 2019.
Gift collection boxes will be available in these locations from November 18th to December 3rd, 2019.
