My name is Alana Mayott, and I am a freshman student from Melbourne, Florida. I am majoring in Environmental Science and Policy. Some of my hobbies include photography, yoga and scrapbooking. As a student assistant, I am most looking forward to being able to do research that will help develop more involvement and inclusion for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) at USF and to be able to support and contribute ideas that will help improve and facilitate the diversity and inclusion initiatives currently on campus.

Hello, my name is Shirley Ngo, I was born in Bronx, NY, and moved to Tampa, FL, when I was still little. I am a sophomore majoring in Health Science and intend to become a pediatric nurse. I am currently secretary for Vietnamese Student Association and historian for Asian Students in America. I enjoy hanging out with my family and I love traveling as well! In this position, I am looking forward to learning more about anti-racism, the USF community, and building strong connections with the team and staff!
