USF students use AI to detect Alzheimer’s

USF Health Taneja College of Pharmacy students Siegrid Pregartner and Laura Borgerding, launched a startup, Janus AI, and designed an AI tool that aids in the early detection of Alzheimer’s. Their focus is to provide patients suffering from the disease more time to make healthcare decisions before the disease hijacks their mental acuity and motor skills.
