NSSE Survey

USF participates in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), administered by Indiana State University, every couple of years to assess our student population’s participation in programs and activities on campus for their learning and personal development. The results provide an estimate of how undergrads spend their time and what they gain by attending college.

USF will use the data from the survey to identify aspects of the undergraduate experience inside and outside the classroom that we can improve through changes in policies and practices more consistent with good practices in undergraduate education.

The survey is distributed to first year (FTIC) students and to seniors in the spring semester via email, as well as being posted on Canvas.

The 2021 survey will be conducted on all USF campuses and will be supported by a marketing campaign to encourage participation.
