Thank you to everyone who helped make CHARGE 2018 a huge success.  Nearly 400 students served at 40 project sites across Tampa.  Stay tuned for information about plans for fall 2019!

This annual kick-off to the community service year occurs at the start of each Fall semester. Hundreds of new USF students come out to volunteer together in the Tampa Bay area.

CHARGE into your community, connect with your fellow Bulls and serve the Tampa Bay area. This new-student tradition of service connects you with not only the Tampa Bay community but upperclassmen at USF who can help you learn about involvement opportunities on campus and help you be successful. New students can find more information and RSVP by using Chrome or Firefox and Searching "CHARGE" on

New Student Participants:

All students are welcome but we especially encourage all new students (first-year and transfer) to participate in CHARGE! Sign-ups will take place online until Wednesday prior to the event. Walk-up registration on the morning of the event is limited due to capacity at the non-profit agencies; therefore, not all walk-up volunteers are guaranteed a spot to serve. In order to participate in CHARGE, there are a few requirements.

Register online or at the "Walk-Up Registration Table" (space for walk-ups is limited)
Devote the full 4-hours of service on the day of CHARGE
Maintain a fun, positive attitude and a strong desire to get involved in your new USF community!
