Currall Shares Vision for USF’s Future in Presidential Inauguration Speech

President Steven C. Currall outlined his vision for the University of South Florida’s future in a speech to students, faculty, staff and alumni during his inauguration this afternoon as the university’s seventh president.

About the President

Steven C. Currall became the seventh president of the University of South Florida on July 1, 2019. He also is a tenured professor at USF. Dr. Currall joins USF from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where he served as provost and vice president for academic affairs from 2016 to 2019.
