Mapping USF's Future

Designing a next-generation university to shape the future of higher education

About

As the University of South Florida celebrates the 70th anniversary of its founding, we are presented with an important responsibility: to envision and define the next chapter of the institution’s evolution. Building on an unmatched trajectory of performance, driven by thoughtful yet aspirational strategic planning, focused resource allocation, disciplined execution, shared accountability, and the extraordinary contributions of faculty, staff and students, USF enters this moment from a position of strength. Membership in the Association of American Universities provides a powerful platform for continued progress, but it is not the destination. Instead, it is a launching point for what comes next: an opportunity to design a next-generation university—One that shapes the future of higher education rather than simply responding to it.

Launched in late May, President Moez Limayem charged a core team of committed leaders and university partners who will work collaboratively to shape the next chapter of the insitition.
