Campus Life

With nearly 50,000 students forging their paths here, our campuses are as warm and vibrant as the sunny region we call home. USF offers a rich variety of activities and resources so each and every one of our students flourishes.

Activities and Programs

Student Centers

Located in the heart of each campus, USF’s student centers are the major hub for student life at USF, where students connect through events, organizations, campus programs, dining, retail and more tailored to their communities.

New Student Connections

USF has so much to offer new students—so where do you begin? New Student Connections supports students by helping them get connected to involvement opportunities, campus resources, and other Bulls.

Student Government

Student Government is the voice of USF students. SG leaders across campuses advocate for student interests, provide services and funding, and support initiatives that enhance the student experience. With more than 250 employees and volunteers, consider joining SG.

Student Involvement

Immerse yourself in free events, campus traditions and fun student‑led experiences across USF, all designed to bring students together. Students can also join their campus activities board and plan signature celebrations like Homecoming.

Student Organizations

With more than 1,000 student organizations across USF’s campuses, there’s something for everyone! Explore your interests on BullsConnect (student activities website/app) then join organizations and meet new friends. Use the filters to view your campus or interests!

Leadership and Civic Engagement

Students across campuses are encouraged to learn, serve, and lead by participating in programs that promote leadership development, community service, and civic responsibility—building skills and making an impact that extends beyond the classroom.

Multiculturalism

Our campuses offer student-led educational, cultural, and social programs to foster experiences for students to create interculturally mature and conscientious citizens who are prepared to thrive in a global society.

Student Newspapers

Student‑run newspapers on the Tampa and St. Petersburg campuses, The Oracle and The Crow’s Nest, help keep students informed and engaged with campus news and perspectives, plus offer opportunities to explore journalism, photography and more.

ROTC

USF is one of 50 universities in the nation with Army, Navy, and Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps programs that provide leadership training and pathways to military and civilian careers. Opportunities are available to students across USF campuses.
