- Producing university news stories, videos and slideshows
- Producing USF Magazine
- Promoting university news
- Coordinating media relations
- Managing crisis communications
- Handling public records requests
- Coordinating the university's social media strategy
- Publishing major university publications
- Developing web content
- Implementing the university's enterprise-wide CMS (in collaboration with IT)
