Experience Your Chosen Field

One of the great things about our location in a bustling metropolitan area is access to co-ops and internships with Fortune 100 companies, leading healthcare organizations and nationally recognized non-profits. Career Services will step you through the process to secure one of these valuable experiences that can make you a stronger candidate for jobs after graduation.

  • Cooperative Education: Integrates hands-on, paid, career-related work experience with your academic program and provides you with valuable training in your chosen career field. You will work alongside industry professionals committed to mentoring and developing young professionals. Co-ops are offered part-time (15-25 hours per week) or full-time (35 hours per week).
  • Internships: Offers a hands-on opportunity to work in your desired field and are often shorter in duration than a co-op. You will learn how your course of study applies to the real world and build valuable experience. An internship can be an excellent way to "try out" a certain career, and may be paid or un-paid.

Prepare for the Job Search

Career Services offers a comprehensive suite of services to get you job ready, including resume and cover letter preparation, employer research, networking and interview skills, and tips on proper attire. You’ll approach graduation confidently and armed with the skills you need to land your first professional position.
