Bio
Mackenzie is the first of her family to pursue a Ph.D. in Politics and International Affairs. In the Fall of 2020, she received her bachelor’s from Florida State University in Political Science with a minor in Women’s Studies. Following in many of her family members’ footsteps, she helped students in a variety of Florida’s cities working as a part-time teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. After discovering her passion for teaching, she decided to return to school to eventually teach at the undergraduate level. Mackenzie’s interests include cooking new dishes, traveling, and going out with friends. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, taking her two pups to the beach, and reading classic novels.
