Bio

Dr. Peng is an Associate Professor in International Studies, having completed a Ph.D. at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University in 1995. He accomplished his post-doctoral research at Waseda University in Japan in 1997 and 1998 with a Social Science Research Council fellowship. He received his B.A. from Wuhan University in China, his M.A. in Economics at the University of Akron and M. A. degree in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations in Beijing. His areas of specialty are international political economy, international business, comparative politics, and area study of Asia. His publications appear in prestigious venues such as International Studies Quarterly, Political Science Quarterly, Pacific Affairs, etc. He has also been invited to give presentations/guest lectures on international business/economics at Harvard University, Princeton University, Europe and Asia.
