Rose A. Owen is an Assistant Professor of Political Theory at the University of South Florida. Her work is situated at the intersection of feminist political theory, theories of violence, and the study of social movements. Her writing has been published in Political Theory, New Political Science, Contemporary Political Theory, and Emancipations.
Before USF, Rose was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Political Theory at The New School for Social Research and a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the State University of New York at Purchase.
