Kelly began the USF Criminology Ph.D. program in 2019 after completing an M.S. in Criminal Justice at the University of Alabama and a B.A. in Psychology at San Diego State University. Her research interests include mental health and the criminal justice system, developmental life course criminology, and strain theories.
