Richard K. Moule Jr., PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminology at the University of South Florida and an affiliate of the Center for Justice Research and Policy. Dr. Moule also currently serves as the Graduate Director for the department. He earned his BS in Criminology and Justice Studies from The College of New Jersey (2009), and his MS (2011) and PhD (2016) in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Arizona State University. His research interests focus on the areas of criminological theory, technology use, public perceptions, health and human development, and social integration and acculturation. Much of his research examines the development and internalization of values, norms, and other beliefs, and the influence of these beliefs on individual perceptions, behavior, and policy preferences.
