Sophia Constantinidis Chagas began the USF Criminology Ph.D. program in the Fall of 2025. She received a B.A in Criminology and International Studies from the University of South Florida in 2021 and an M.A. in Criminology at the University of South Florida in 2025. Her research interests focus on violence against women, comparative criminology, international criminology, violent crime and mixed-methods.
