Jane Govoni, Ph.D.
Govoni received her MA in Spanish from Boston College and her Ph.D. from the University of South Florida specializing in Second Language Acquisition. She is a past recipient of the Florida Irving Wershow Award in foreign language education and the Mary L. Collins Award for excellence in teacher education. She is currently the executive secretary for the Southeastern Regional Association of Teacher Educators (SRATE). In addition, Govoni is an ESOL-SPA reviewer for CAEP and serves on the TESOL National Standards Professional Council.
