2021: MEET THE GADDIS-GOLUB FAMILY!

USF Family of the Year Winner

This year, we are delighted to recognize the Gaddis-Golub Family, from Maryland.

Even at 11 years old and growing up in Maryland, Kelin Gaddis, a current sophomore pursuing a Criminology degree, knew her plans after high school included USF.  Kelin’s grandparents, parents and older brother are all USF alums.

From traveling to USF Football and Basketball games, visiting campus with family for the traditional “Horns Up” photo in front of the Marshall Student Center, listening to stories of favorite classes and the blind date that brought her parents together, to growing up with her mother’s sorority sisters as “Aunties”, Kelin had a lifetime of USF memories before ever attending classes on the Tampa campus.

  •  Gary Golub graduated in 1974 with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance
  • Donna Golub graduated in January 1970 and worked as the director of the preschool, Bright Horizons, on the Tampa campus
  • James Gaddis graduated from USF in 1994 with a double major in Accounting and Management Information Systems
  • Erin Gaddis graduated in the Spring of 1995 with a BA in Sociology

Kelin is proud to continue the legacy of the Gaddis-Golub family at USF.

USF families can take many different forms, but their support and dedication to their students can make a tremendous impact on their success. It is an honor to have this family as a part of our USF community and we are thrilled to recognize them with this award.
