Emergency Assistance Abroad
In a life-threatening emergency abroad, contact local emergency services first. For medical or security assistance abroad, contact International SOS using the Assistance App or published assistance number. For university emergency coordination or incident reporting involving USF students, faculty, and staff traveling internationally on USF-related activities, contact USF Global Travel Emergency Assistance at EAAssist@usf.edu. Employee group leaders should follow the emergency communication procedures provided before departure.
Who Should Use These Contacts
EAAssist@usf.edu and the designated Global Travel Safety & Health emergency telephone number are intended for health, safety, and emergency matters involving USF students, faculty, and staff traveling abroad on USF-related activities. These contacts are not intended for concerns involving international students currently studying at USF campuses in Florida. Students and families seeking assistance with concerns involving students in Florida should contact the appropriate USF student support services. This distinction helps connect students and families with the resources best equipped to provide timely assistance.
