General Medical Care
It is important to take responsibility for your health and wellness. Having a primary care provider is one part of the regimen of being a healthy, responsible student. It is helpful to develop a relationship with your provider so that you'll be comfortable coming to them with all your health and wellness questions, even those things that might be embarrassing. The majority of the issues you may experience while at USF will be handled at SHS.
Upon admission to USF you will be assigned to a health care provider who will assist you with your health care needs. We can see you for colds, flu, cough, stomach aches, sprains or strains or to get a physical. If you suffer from a chronic illness like allergies, asthma, or diabetes our doctors and nurses are here to help you.
