Florida Academy of Sciences Medalists

"The FAS Medal is presented each year at the Annual Meeting to a resident of the Sate of Florida who has contributed in an outstanding manner to the promotion of scientific research, to the stimulation of interest in the sciences, or to the diffusion of scientific knowledge."

Florida Section, ACS, Florida Award

The award was established in 1952 by vote of the Florida Section of the American Chemical Society, and has been given each year since then at the annual scientific meeting of the Florida Sections. The purpose is "To recognize leadership and contributions toward the advancement of the profession of chemistry."

National Science Foundation CAREER Awardees
