BIO

Dr. John J. Sullivan has been teaching at the university level since 1997. He obtained his Ph.D. in MIS from the University of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England in 2007. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Sullivan compiled twelve years industry experience in a variety of capacities; as a systems analyst, project manager, and founder and president of his own company, True North Information Systems. 

Dr. Sullivan joined the School of Information in 2010 and has enjoyed much success at USF.  He won the Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award in 2016 and has served as the Director of the Undergraduate Information Science program since 2019.
